Breast Reduction

Breast reduction is a procedure aimed at reducing the size of large hanging breasts and giving them a proper shape. Overweight breasts can cause a variety of problems such as back and neck pain, skin irritation, skeletal and breathing problems. Excessively large breasts can also interfere with sports and other physical activities. A breast reduction can be performed at any age, but is usually recommended to wait until full growth of the breasts is achieved.

The breast reduction package includes transportation between the airport, clinic stay, all consultation and doctor's fees, initial and final examinations and any necessary medical wraps, bandages or girdles.

This procedure requires a stay of 21 days for recovery, checkups and post-surgical examinations. While we do not cover hotel stay we will provide transportation between your chosen place of stay and the clinic. We can also assist in making reservations at local hotels of your choosing.
If desired, you can also choose to spend your entire recovery period at the clinic at an additional cost of €40 per day.

During the procedure the surgeon makes three incisions. The first incision is made around the areola, the second running vertical from the bottom edge of areola to the crease under the breast and the last one along the natural line of the breast crease. The surgeon then removes the excess skin and fat from the breasts and the nipple and areola are shifted to a higher location. During the procedure the size of the areola is reduced, the skin that was earlier located above the nipple is brought down and the breasts are given proper shape. In certain cases liposuction may be used to build a proper contour below the arm.

General anesthesia is used throughout the entire procedure.
