Facelift

Facelift, also known as Rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure aimed at repairing sagging, drooping, or wrinkled skin of the face and neck that occur due to aging, poor diet and heredity. During facelift surgery excess fat is removed while the underneath muscles are tightened and the facial and neck skin is tightened. Sometimes a facelift is performed along with other procedures such as eyelid surgery or rhinoplasty.

The facelift package includes transportation between the airport, clinic stay, all consultation and doctor's fees, initial and final examinations and any necessary medical wraps, bandages or girdles.

This procedure requires a stay of 14 to 21 days for recovery, checkups and post-surgical examinations. While we do not cover hotel stay we will provide transportation between your chosen place of stay and the clinic. We can also assist in making reservations at local hotels of your choosing.
If desired, you can also choose to spend your entire recovery period at the clinic at an additional cost of €40 per day.

The incisions are made by the surgeon above the hairline at the temples, extending along the natural line in front of the ear and behind the earlobe and continuing to the lower scalp. An incision can also be made below the chin if the sagging skin from the neck is also to be removed. Thereafter the skin is separated from the underlying fats and tissue.

General anesthesia is used throughout the entire process. The surgery lasts about one to two hours.

A person who has undergone facelift can look about a decade younger though the aging process is not reversed. The sagging facial skin is tightened while the muscles are toned and the face is given proper contour. With facelift one can address the effects of the age, heredity, sun exposure, smoking, accidents and more.
