Gynecomastia

The enlargement of the breasts in men is a common condition called gynecomastia. The purpose of male breast reduction is to remove the excess fat and glandular tissue along with the skin from the enlarged area leading to a flat, firm and well shaped chest.

The gynecomastia package includes transportation between the airport, clinic stay, all consultation and doctor's fees, initial and final examinations and any necessary medical wraps, bandages or girdles.

This procedure requires a stay of 7 to 10 days for recovery, checkups and post-surgical examinations. While we do not cover hotel stay we will provide transportation between your chosen place of stay and the clinic. We can also assist in making reservations at local hotels of your choosing.
If desired, you can also choose to spend your entire recovery period at the clinic at an additional cost of €40 per day.

The incision is generally made in hidden areas such as edge of the areola or under the arm. The excess tissues and skin are then removed and liposuction is applied if necessary. If there is a large quantity of accumulated fats, then larger incisions may be necessary. Stitches used are of the dissolving types which do not need to be removed and leave imperceptible scars.

General anesthesia is used throughout the entire procedure. The surgery lasts between one to three hours.

Male breast reduction procedure results in a firmer, flatter and well contoured chest with a more pleasing shape. The overall look of the body as well as a person’s perceived body image is dramatically improved.
