Tummy Tuck

Many people have excess skin and fat in the abdominal area due to substantial weight loss, pregnancy, aging or heredity. A tummy tuck, also known as abdominoplasty, is the surgical procedure in which excess fat and skin is removed from the abdominal wall. The stomach muscles are also tightened for a smoother and flatter appearance.

The tummy tuck package includes transportation between the airport, clinic stay, all consultation and doctor's fees, initial and final examinations and any necessary medical wraps, bandages or girdles.

This procedure requires a stay of 21 days for recovery, checkups and post-surgical examinations. While we do not cover hotel stay we will provide transportation between your chosen place of stay and the clinic. We can also assist in making reservations at local hotels of your choosing.
If desired, you can also choose to spend your entire recovery period at the clinic at an additional cost of €40 per day.

Depending on the procedure the surgeon will separate the skin and muscles from the abdominal wall all the way to the ribcage. The underlying muscles are then tightened by pulling them closer and stitching them to a new position that leads to the abdominal walls becoming firmer and the waistline becoming narrower. The excess skin and fat is then removed and the navel is placed in the new location.

General anesthesia is used throughout the entire procedure. The surgery can last between two to four hours.

Tummy tuck can be very useful for people who have not been able to reduce the fat deposits in their abdomen in spite of exercise programs, or for those who are unable to carry out physical activities. Tummy tuck is popular among both men and women of all ages to remove hanging skin and fat that produces an unflattering look and can act to hinder their movements.
