Your initial contact with SlovaMed
After you browse our website and decide you would like more information contact us for a free quote and answers to any additional questions that you might have.

Information exchange with SlovaMed
After all your questions have been answered and you decide to proceed with treatment we will schedule a conference call with your SlovaMed surgeon to assess your medical history and arrange for an exchange of medical information with your local physician. If requested or required, we will also arrange the contact between our surgeons and your local doctor.

Treatment scheduling
After your consultation process is finished we will schedule the treatment date at your convenience. You will receive a detailed itinerary of your stay in the Slovak Republic along with the details of the procedure.

Arrival to the Slovak Republic
Our clinic's location gives you the flexibility to fly choose your arrival destination as either Bratislava (Slovakia) or Vienna (Austria).
A SlovaMed representative will meet you at the airport and chauffeur you to your hotel.

Welcome meeting
The next day we will pick you up at the hotel and drive you to SlovaMed's offices for a face-to-face meeting and give you a chance to ask any last minute questions. You will be given a cell phone with a contact list should you require any assistance during your stay in the Slovak Republic.

Meet your specialist
After your initial meeting with a SlovaMed representative we will drive you the clinic to meet with your specialist. You will be given your initial pre-operation examination and have a chance to ask any medical questions.

Your procedure
After the initial examination we will chauffeur you to the clinic for your procedure. In the event of multiple surgical treatments your surgeon will divide them into two or more operations depending on your needs.

Post-operative care
Following your doctor's instructions, you will spend the next few days recovering at the clinic under observation. Some procedures require a longer recovery period than others and orthopedic treatments will be followed by a period of therapeutic rehabilitation. Your doctor and a SlovaMed representative will guide you throughout this important phase.

Return home
Once your doctor successfully administers the final examination we will chauffeur you to the airport of your choice and wish you a happy return home.

Follow-up care
We will keep in touch with you after you have returned home and will gladly answer any questions you might have. We can also arrange communications between your SlovaMed surgeon and your local doctor if necessary.
